Design With Purpose

Institutional Brochure for MSR Collective 🌍🤰🏽

We had the privilege of collaborating with MSR Collective, an international non-profit organization dedicated to tackling one of the most urgent public health challenges in Africa: maternal mortality in Nigeria.

Our mission was to create an institutional brochure that not only informs but also moves, mobilizes, and inspires action. From the first sketch to the final layout, every design decision was made to reflect the humanity, urgency, and hope behind MSR Collective’s work.

Key Stages of the Design Process:

🔍 Deep Research and Visual Empathy
We began with a deep dive into reports, statistics, and real-life stories to understand the impact of MSR Collective’s work. This foundation allowed us to craft a visual narrative that is both powerful and respectful.

🎨 A Coherent and Human Visual Identity
We selected a warm and organic color palette—earth tones, soft oranges, and hopeful greens. Clean, readable fonts ensure accessibility, while authentic photographs of women, mothers, and frontline health workers create a personal connection.

📑 Structured, Clear, and Emotionally Engaging Content
The brochure leads readers through the problem (the causes and effects of maternal mortality), then highlights the tangible solutions implemented by MSR Collective, and ends with a strong call to action: donate, support, or get involved.

🖨️ Multi-Format Output
We delivered the brochure in both print and digital formats, ready for use in fundraising campaigns, international presentations, institutional meetings, and field distribution. The digital version is also optimized for email and website downloads.

New Packaging, Play Energy

Flavor Expansion, Design ConsistencyWith the introduction of new flavors and sugar-free versions, Play Energy resisted the industry trend of changing colors per variant. Instead, it maintained its black-red-white palette, using subtle visual cues like fine line patterns, iconography, or flavor tags below the logo to differentiate each product. This decision solidified the brand’s visual discipline and reinforced its premium, high-intensity identity. Premium MinimalismIn an effort to elevate the brand’s maturity and appeal to both hardcore fans and new health-conscious consumers, the can design was streamlined. Excess visual noise was removed. The matte black became deeper and more tactile, the fonts cleaner, and the red elements slightly metallic. This version leaned

Crafting a Brand

The Rise of Artisanal Beer in Ensenada, Tijuana, and San Diego In the evolving world of branding, few industries have embraced authenticity, storytelling, and community like the craft beer scene. And in the cross-border region of Ensenada, Tijuana, and San Diego, craft beer is more than just a product — it’s a brand ecosystem that reflects identity, creativity, and cultural fusion. Ensenada: Brewing with Character and Coastal Identity Known for its wine culture, Ensenada is now carving a name for itself as a hotspot for artisanal beer. Brands like Wendlandt, Agua Mala, and Transpeninsular have developed unique identities grounded in their geography, storytelling, and visual design. Whether it’s nautical themes
